Shoulder Arms and Ab Ripper X
First let me just say I got some awesome motivation in the mail today!
My new snowboard!

Okay I know its a little while until its snows out, but by the time I wrap up P90x flakes will hopefully be falling. Plus the snow season is the whole reason I’m getting back into p90x. I want to be in great shape and be able to ski/snowboard all day.
I think it is good to have motivation or a reason for doing any kind of workout, yes it is nice to be in good overall shape, but it is even better if you have some sort of underlying overall goal your trying to achieve. It can just make you push that much harder and want to accomplish the program.
I’m sitting up the snowboard, right next to my weights and the tv so if I ever feel like possibly bailing on a workout it will be there and motivate me to get busy!
What to Expect from Shoulder and Arms
Expect a awesome arm workout, in my opinion this is one of the best strength workouts in the p90x series. You just feel like you get to blast the arms and nothing is too hard to get completed. If your struggling with pull-ups and not being able to complete all the workouts on those days, this is the day you can really bring it to your arms.
Every workout presented this day is what is really going to tone up those arms and get them looking good. This is a day to really focus on if arms is one of your main problem areas.

P90X Workout,
Snowboard
Calves are hurting and aching after p90x Pylo, feels like I just snowboarded all day!
Be Expecting sore calves after Pylo I always have it and I think it is from the the jump squats. There really is no way to avoid p90x soreness if your bringing it. It gets better as time progresses.

Day 2 P90x
Pylometrics
This work out really is a chore.
It is a relief not to have to do any muscle workout after all the push ups and pull ups from p90x day 1. But Pylo is a pretty tough workout and you have to stay focused to get all the benefits of the workout.
It is easy to loose motivation and not bring it at the end of this workout, but I did my best to stay with it and make every move count.
Pylometrics going to help me have a stronger ski and snowboard season
I feel like Pylo is were i need the most work when it comes to fitness, I can go to a gym and lift all day, but I won’t be doing any jump squats. The moves done in this video I think are the number one thing that will get me in shape for ski and snowboard season as well.
Every time I felt like stopping or just not putting my full energy into a move I just thought about snowboarding and kept in mind that these moves would make me stronger for the sport.
I am for sure sore from day 1 of p90x so i have been focusing on staying hydrated and eating right, hopefully it will help me recover quicker!

Delicious Water!

P90X Workout

The first time I did P90X, I was pretty darn sore, this time I thought it would be better because I have been lifting in the gym.
Well its not!
The upper body is sore, which just goes to show you that P90x really does work muscles that you can miss out in the gym. I think it is all the push ups and struggling to do pull ups, those little muscles get worked more. Really Day 1 of p90x the chest and back is one of the toughest workouts in my opinion.
What hurts:
-Chest
-Shoulders
-Biceps
-upper back
-lats
-tiny muscles that I had forgotten about
I was sore all morning and then I hit up Day 2 P90x, which is Pylo and my muscles started warming up. About an hour after the workout though, the soreness returned now its just not in the upper body but also in lower.
I really forgot how much the week 1 of p90x can really hurt ya!

Day 1 P90x
Chest and Back ANDDDD AB RIPPER X
Day 1 always a struggle
Whenever you start any fitness plan or diet there is always day 1. It is a good day to see what needs work, where you are strong and where you are weak.
Having some base fitness down before starting p90x
So the last couple months I have been biking and lifting weights at the gym, so I didn’t let myself totally go and I actually felt okay on todays workout. The first time I did p90x I hadn’t lifted in over a year and I struggled on doing any push-ups off my knees. Today I could easily do 10-15 off the knees on most of the push ups. So at least I haven’t been loosing much strength. Now I see perks to going into P90x with some fitness base planted you can keep up and work harder, hopefully getting better results.
The Ab Ripper X is still a B*tch! Its not my favorite and adds on to the total amount of time so even when you get done with the main workout your can’t really celebrate. And three days of week of it, is kinda of overkill, but I’ll stick with it.
What to Expect
Expect a lot of push ups with day one.
It Never Feels Better then Saying Day 1 DONE!
