The other day I hit up Florida Canyon Trails, its not any major riding, but it is close to where I live so that nice.  The trails are simple and you have to watch out for dogs and people.  It was nice enough to cruise through and getting quick fix in.  I have wanted to ride the trails since the last time I lived here but hadn’t had a chance yet so glad I check it out.

The trails are located on the East Side of Balboa Park and do offer a bit of single track.  One of coolest things I saw though was a velodrome track up in the park, I never new it was there so that was a pretty sweet find.

Who would of thought there would be some good trail riding in Fort Lauderdale!  Well there is a great little spot, about 15 miles from downtown Fort Lauderdale, called Markham Park.  It has pretty sweet single track, and some crazy custom built jumps.  Bikers were there in full body protection gear.  I was a bit scared, didn’t hit any of the crazy jumps but it felt good to get out and ride.

This place is pretty sweet got in about 90 minutes of riding today, the trees and shrubs are very unique there.

Other than that been hitting up the beach for a little running.
